I'm Elisa Ulloa, a Senior Product Designer based in Lisbon, working with teams across the U.S. and Europe.
For over a decade, I've designed digital products in fintech, B2B SaaS, and AI. Right now I'm working on the design system at Wayflyer, a fintech that funds consumer brands.
Before that, I built a design system from scratch for the platform Fanatics Collectibles uses to create its trading cards. At Telly, I started with no app or brand and owned the design of onboarding, referrals, and the launch for a new TV company. Reservations reached the hundreds of thousands in the first week.
Most of my work is contract-based, and it's a model that suits me. Teams usually bring me in at a specific moment: a product going from zero to one, a design system that needs to exist, a launch with a fixed date. I get inside how the product works, ship what's needed, and leave things in a state the team can run without me.
For me, function and form depend on each other. I like the hard parts: complex workflows, clear information architecture, and interfaces tidy enough that nobody notices the complexity underneath.
I've lived and worked in Argentina, New Zealand, Spain, and Portugal, so remote, cross-cultural teams are my norm.
